The purchase or sale of a home and working with the right real estate agent is a very personal decision. Each client and property that I represent is a unique opportunity. I will take the time to listen to you and support you throughout the entire process. My responsibility to you is a firm commitment that your needs and wants are the priority. Our success together is based on trust and confidence.
Whether you are a first time buyer or ready to move up to your new home, I can help you in finding the property of your dreams. When you request my services to sell your home, you'll find that I will work the details and market your property to the greatest extent that will get you the best offer.
When you choose me to be your designated agent, I'll be there for you every step of the way.
My wife, Andrea, and I live in the West Main Hill Neighborhood of Kalamazoo. We have three children, all wonderful young girls - Natalie & Jane, 11 and Mary, 10. In addition, we have one old dog, four chickens and a rat named Sanka. It's a busy home and we love it all, most of the time.
Both Andrea and I coach YMCA basketball for our girls' teams. Often you'll find me out in the shop working on random home projects. Currently, I'm remodeling our sun-porch. We both love to play cards, drink red wine with friends and walk the neighborhoods. Whenever possible, we escape to our cabin in Manistee for the water and woods. This time of year, there is always a fire burning wherever we are.
Past Life Experiences
I've worked as a teacher in middle and elementary schools for over eight years, here in Kalamazoo and also Portland, Oregon. I've also taught at Western Michigan University training faculty. During and around those opportunities, I've worked in the trades doing remodeling and other general construction projects. I bring a wealth of experiences that allow me to see the market and each home with a discerning eye.
I believe in continuing education. It helps me be a better agent for you. I've spent over 60 hours, in just this past year alone, training, learning and refining my craft so that I can better serve you.
